Voopoo VMATE E Pod Kit

Today, I’m checking out the Voopoo VMate E Pod Kit! It’s a sleek, low-powered device with a protective cap and a stylish Leatherette covering.

You’ll find LED lights that show you how much battery you have left and track your puffs. Plus, there’s a slider to adjust the airflow to your liking.

When you take off the cap and pod, inside the VMate E pod bay, you’ll see the usual spring-loaded gold contact points. The pods fit snugly into place.

The device feels really nice to hold, and it’s quite heavy for a pod kit.

When the airflow slide is fully open, the 0.7ohm pod gives a cloudy vape that’s a bit restricted but still direct to lung.

If you close the airflow a bit, it’s great for a mouth to lung vape. I’ve also tried the 1.2ohm pod, and honestly, I can’t pick a favorite for flavor between the two. I think it’s because of Voopoo’s new ITO technology in the pods.

Since I like a bit more airflow, I’ve mostly been using the 0.7ohm pod for a restricted direct to lung vape.

I got the standard 3ml version of the kit in “White and Gold” for this review, though there will be a 2ml version for areas following TPD regulations.

This device is roughly 99mm tall with the pod and cap attached, about 30mm wide, and has a depth of 17mm.

It’s made of Zinc Alloy with a faux leather sticker on the front.

I don’t have the exact weight, but it feels quite heavy for a pod kit.

Everything comes neatly packed in a cardboard box. Inside, you’ll find the kit, an extra pod, a Type C cable for charging, and a manual.

Voopoo gives you two different cartridges with this kit: one with a 0.7ohm coil and another with a 1.2ohm coil. You can refill both cartridges through side ports covered by silicone plugs. These plugs also show the resistance of the coil. Once a pod reaches the end of its lifespan, you’ll need to buy new ones.

Each pod has tiny holes at the bottom for airflow.

During my testing, both pods consistently delivered decent flavor and a satisfying vaping experience. I’ve had no issues with leaking in the pod compartment, just a bit of condensation.
