Voopoo Drag Max Pod Mod Kit
So, the Voopoo Drag Max Pod might seem like the next in line for the DRAG mods, but it’s actually a bit different. While it shares similarities with the DRAG and DRAG 2, it’s more like a heavy-duty pod mod.
Picture it as a dual-18650 platform for the PnP pods. Basically, it’s like a bigger DRAG X with more battery life and power.
So, this is the second time Voopoo has paired dual batteries with PnP coils, following the Argus GT. But these devices are quite different. The Argus came with an adaptor to use PnP coils with a 510 connection, but the Max doesn’t have a 510 connection at all.
If you’re finding Voopoo’s approach a bit confusing with all these different product lines, don’t worry. I’ll break it down for you.

When I first opened the box, the Max mod caught my eye because it looks like it’s evolved from the DRAG series. It’s got a similar shape to the original DRAG, just a bit smaller, but now the corners are rounded and there’s a 4 mm raised platform for the PnP pod to sit on. In terms of size and shape, I’d say the Max is somewhere between the original DRAG and the Argus GT mod.
So, as I mentioned earlier, it’s more accurate to say that the DRAG Max is like a pumped-up version of the DRAG X. It’s got dual batteries, airflow control, and no 510 connection, just like the DRAG X. Instead, it uses the magnetic connection of the PnP platform.
