Voopoo VMATE Pod Kit

The Voopoo VMate pod kit has a 2ml capacity and uses a mesh coil. Despite this, it doesn’t consume a lot of juice, so a fill lasts a long time.

I really like the design of this pod kit. It feels good to hold, and the translucent pod lets you easily see how much juice is left. The minimal branding also makes it look very nice.

Performance-wise, even though I lost mine, I was able to use it for a few days and was very impressed. The flavor from the 0.7ohm coil was excellent, and it produced a lot of vapor, even with nicotine salts.

The VMate is designed for mouth-to-lung (MTL) vaping but feels more like a restricted direct-lung (RDL) vape with the included coil. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being very airy, this one is about an 8. It has airflow holes on both sides, and covering one can make the draw tighter.

I didn’t get to try the 0.8 or 1.2 ohm pods, so I can’t compare them. Out of the box, don’t expect a very tight draw.
