The Voopoo Drag X Mod is all about quality, with a premium build and a powerful GENE.TT Chip inside.

Voopoo held off using their top-tier brand name until they had something special, and now they’ve launched two devices at once: the Drag X and Drag S. I don’t have the Drag S, but it’s the version with a built-in battery.

It’s a straightforward device, focusing on wattage control with Smart mode and RBA mode. You can also use RBA mode to bypass Smart mode’s restrictions. Plus, the blue screen looks really nice.

The Drag X comes in a cardboard box with a ribbon to lift out the device and pod. It’s heavy and made of Zinc Alloy with a leather spine that says “DRAG” on it.

All versions have a gunmetal frame, but the color of the leather spine varies. I got the Galaxy Blue version, but you can choose from options like Carbon Fiber, Classic, Retro, and others.

The pod for the Drag X is round and clear, including the mouthpiece. It sticks out from the device, so you can easily see your juice level.

At the bottom, there are three strong magnets and a silicone bung held in place by a metal stud. And The bung has a flap that lifts easily to reveal a big fill port, making filling quick and mess-free.
