Voopoo Drag Nano Pod Kit
The Voopoo Drag Nano Pod Kit is a tiny vape that looks like the bigger Drag mods but without the buttons and screen. It comes with a necklace if you want to wear it around your neck, which is cooler than a lanyard, but I personally don’t like vapes as accessories.
Even though it’s small, it has a strong battery (750 mAh) and holds 2 mL of liquid. It uses a new chip called the Voopoo GENE.Pod, which is supposed to keep the flavor consistent from the start to the end of each puff.
This vape is best for strong liquids and nicotine salts, but it’s not clear if it’s really made for mouth-to-lung vaping.
Voopoo Drag Nano Pod:
The Voopoo Drag Nano is built really well, just like other vapes in the Drag series. It looks and feels nice, especially with the resin finish and cool colors like aurora.
It’s super small, only about 11 mm thick, 40 mm wide, and 55 mm tall without the pod. With the pod, it’s still compact, with only a bit of the mouthpiece sticking out. It feels solid and balanced, and it’s lightweight at just 60 grams. Since it doesn’t have buttons and works with automatic drawing, it looks clean on the outside. There’s a small LED that shows the battery life.
Voopoo Drag Nano Pod:
The pods click into the vape, but the connection isn’t super strong. They stay in place well, though, unlike magnetic pods that can come loose if dropped. However, there’s a bit of wiggle room between the pod and the vape, which isn’t ideal.
To refill the pod, you pull it out and take off the mouthpiece. The refill hole is on the side, but it’s not very big. Some bottles fit, but others might need you to be careful to avoid spills.
The Drag Nano’s performance is okay. I’ve tried different juices with it, and they vape fine, but nothing outstanding. The flavor is decent, but not super strong, and the throat hit could be stronger.
My main issues with the performance are:
- The draw: It’s more like a restricted lung hit than a mouth-to-lung hit. I have to pull with my lungs instead of just using my breath.
- Vapor temperature: It’s not as warm as I’d like. It’s not cold, but it’s not very warm either. Even with long drags, it doesn’t get much warmer.
But, it’s still good for high-strength juices, despite the draw being a bit different. It doesn’t have common problems like leaking or juice getting in my mouth, and it vapes quietly.
