Voopoo Drag 2 Kit

The Voopoo Drag 2 Kit includes two parts: the Drag 2 mod, which takes two 18650 batteries, and the Uforce T2 sub-ohm tank. The original Drag was super popular because it had the really accurate GENE chip and could fire super fast, in just 0.01 seconds. Plus, it was affordable.

But, it had some issues. Even 24 mm atomizers stuck out a bit, the battery door wiggled a bit, and the paint on the black version could scratch easily.

The Drag 2 is a vape that uses two 18650 batteries and can go up to 177 watts. It only comes in black, but there are different resin colors to choose from. I got the “fire cloud” one, which I don’t like as much as the others, but it still looks good. The big “DRAG” on the back isn’t as bold as before, so it’s more subtle. Plus, the edges are rounded, so it’s nicer to hold.

Voopoo Drag 2 Kit:

The Drag 2 mod weighs 157 grams, which is about 50 grams lighter than the original Drag. The paint job feels better, and it seems like they fixed the scratching issue from before. The battery door magnets are strong, but there’s still a bit of wiggle room. The screen is okay, but it’s black and white and not very bright. The buttons feel upgraded from the original Drag and are clicky. Atomizers with a diameter of 25 mm fit flush with the edges, but there’s a slight gap because of the lifted 510 platform. I’m not sure why they went with that design, but it might bother you once you notice it.

The GENE chip in the Drag 2 is great for regular vaping, but not so great for temperature control. It’s good at preventing dry hits and keeping temperatures accurate, but it has some limitations. The TCR numbering is specific to this chip, and it has an 80-watt limit in TC mode, which might not be enough for some fancy coils. It’s okay for MTL coils though, since they don’t need as much power, and the default settings work fine with stainless steel coils.
