UWELL Caliburn X Pod Kit

UWELL Crown X Pod – Uwell is one of the most popular vaping brands globally, known for their successful product lines. One of their latest products is the Crown X from their Crown series.  The Crown X comes with a 5.3ml pod, a 1500mAh battery, and two low-resistance coils that are each designed to last for 30 days.  Now, after using the Crown X for 20 days, I’m ready to share my full review of this DL pod vape. While Uwell is mostly known for their slim and sleek pod vapes, the Crown X is not their first larger pod device. Starting with its size, the Crown X is larger than what I’m used to from Uwell.

It measures 113mm tall, 30.8mm wide. I even dropped it from about 5 feet onto concrete to test it. It got some nicks, light gouges, and scratches. There’s also an airflow adjustment slider on the side, which is a round knob controlling a large slot. The slider is firm and stays in place once adjusted. It comes with two coils: a 0.3Ω mesh coil (best used at 40-45W) and a 0.6Ω mesh coil (best at 20-25W).

The Crown X sits between a pod vape and a pod mod. This feature is handy if you want to prevent accidental firing, like when the device is in your pocket. You can lock the button so it only fires when you inhale, or vice versa. The mode you select will show on the large 0.96-inch TFT color display. To adjust the wattage, press the fire button three times. The 0.6Ω coil can go up to 25W, while the 0.3Ω coil can reach the device’s maximum of 60W.
