COILS AND PODS – Coils are the parts in vape devices that heat up and turn e-liquid into vapor. Pods are the containers that hold both the e-liquid and the coil. In traditional vapes, the coil is a separate piece that you have to install inside the pod or tank.

A vape coil is a small wire shaped like a spring, wrapped around the wick in your device. It’s held by an atomizer head and connected to the battery. When the battery heats the coil, the coil heats the wick soaked in e-liquid, creating vapor.

A vape pod is a type of vape with a battery and a ‘pod’ instead of a tank. The pod holds both the coil and e-liquid, just like a tank, but it’s all in one sealed piece. Some pods have non-replaceable coils, and some come pre-filled with e-liquid.
