Design & Build Quality

The Caliburn G3 is an updated version of the G2. Uwell kept the tall and slim shape. so it still fits easily in your pocket or small purse. The activation button is flat with the device but has a textured surface to make it easy to find with your thumb. Below the button is a small OLED display. Overall, the design is clean, and the G3 looks and feels great. so the G3 can stand upright on a desk or table without tipping over. You can choose from six colors, including silver, black, red, and green.

A nice feature carried over from the previous model is the cut-outs in the pod socket. These let you see how much liquid is in your pods while keeping them securely in place. It’s a great design that other vape brands should consider using.

which is better than the 750mAh battery in the G2, but I would have liked a bit more power. However, the battery works well if you don’t constantly use the vape at 25W.

Features

The G3 looks simple on the outside.

You can adjust the airflow to the pod by changing the pod’s orientation in the socket. While this method doesn’t offer as much control as the airflow wheel on the G2 pods, it’s much simpler and more convenient. You can feel the difference, but it would be nice to have a way to know which airflow setting you’ve chosen without taking a puff.

The pods have handy cut-outs in the socket, which are now slightly bigger on the G3.  Little details like these are why Uwell is one of the most popular vape brands.

0.6ohm Caliburn G3 Pod

This pod can handle e-liquids with a 50/50 to 70/30 VG/PG ratio because it’s a mix between MTL, RDL, and DTL styles at 0.6 ohms. and a great throat hit even with just 6mg of nicotine. If you’re using a higher nicotine strength, you might find this pod too harsh and should consider using the 0.9 ohm pod instead.

I noticed a slight dryness in the vape. It won’t compete with a sub-ohm tank, which I found worked well, but it had a slight dryness. I preferred using the pod at 14W, where I got a nice warmth without the dryness.  The flavor is perfect—I have no complaints. The vapor production is average, just what you’d expect from this type of device. I don’t feel much throat hit since I use 6mg nicotine. After 10 refills (remember, it’s a 2.5ml pod), the flavor is still great! You have two airflow settings to choose from, For the 0.6 ohm pod, With the 0.9 ohm pod, it becomes more of a true MTL, which feels tighter.
